Holzschuherstrasse is the name of the street where I lived.
A series of images about a young community, my home, my identity.
The trick was to be really present in my environment, in my every day life. It was more about dealing with my moods and catching situations spontaneously rather than hunting motives. They came to me, I simply had to wait for the right moment and shoot.
The series was nominated and exhibited during the World Press Photo Joop Swart Masterclass in 2001.
